Our four-week Certified Phlebotomy course
Our phlebotomy training workshops are thorough and focus on a hands-on approach, ensuring that each participant will practice blood drawing during the course. These procedures will be conducted under supervision and practiced on fellow classmates. Additionally, the training will cover essential techniques to manage special cases and challenging venipunctures. The program includes four weeks of lectures, discussions, and hands-on practice in the laboratory.
Phlebotomy Content Includes
The program covers HIPAA and patient's rights, universal precautions and safety, hands-on training, difficult draws, venipuncture using vacutainers, butterflies, and syringes, finger and heel sticks, blood and its components, medical laboratory terminology related to phlebotomy, the uses, additives, and order of draw, and professionalism. It runs one day a week for four weeks, features small class sizes, offers one-on-one training, and is priced affordably at $600.
