 Phlebotomy is an excellent entry point into the healthcare sector. Hospitals, clinics, and laboratories are in constant need of skilled phlebotomists. Blood testing is a necessity for patients, serving as a fundamental tool for screening and diagnosing illnesses.

Our phlebotomy training workshops are thorough and focus on a hands-on approach, ensuring that each participant will practice blood drawing during the course. These procedures will be conducted under supervision and practiced on fellow classmates. Additionally, the training will cover essential techniques to manage special cases and challenging venipunctures. The program includes lectures, discussions, and hands-on training. 

The program covers HIPAA and patient's rights, universal precautions and safety, hands-on training, difficult draws, venipuncture using vacutainers, butterflies, and syringes, finger and heel sticks, blood and its components, medical laboratory terminology related to phlebotomy, the uses, additives, and order of draw, and professionalism.   The course includes both theory and clinical training. Upon course completion, students will be eligible to sit for the national certification exam to become a Certified Phlebotomy Technician. This course will be a 6-day course Tuesday - Thursday for 2 weeks from 5pm-8pm OR a Saturday class that runs one day a week for four weeks. It features small class sizes, offers one-on-one training, and is priced affordably at $600.
